I aim to design and produce a 3 page newspaper spread (including the front cover/headline story) of a tabloid newspaper such as The Sun. To relate to my written Critical Analysis, the piece will be an expose of a female celebrity who has become encompassed within a drugs or sex scandal. I intend to analyse various newspapers in order to achieve the desired outcome - to relate to the idea of an 'expose' tabloid newspapers will be my focus such as The Sun, The Mirror and The Star. The conventions in which I will focus on in order to illustrate my critical investigation are:
- General layout
- Style of images included
- Design, colours, style and so on
- Target audience and relevance to my critical investigation
- Newspaper icons (i.e. re producing the logo, title and exact style of my chosen paper)
- Written style, using the appropriate style of language
